I really wanted to like this book but unfortunately it wasn't quite for me. I was expecting this to make me smile and happy like all the reviews but I was just bored the majority of the time...
The concept of the book really appealed to me but I was bored of the repetitive interactions within the library. I was bored of the constant work theme, I wished some of the characters had problems/challenges unrelated to jobs. I also disliked some characters, and I'm not sure it was intentional?
I can see how this book is loved by many people, maybe I read it at the wrong time. On the surface it seemed wholesome but I didn't feel it.
