If you loved the dynamic in the first book, you're gonna HATE this. Felt like whiplash pivoting into what it became.
I'm not a picky reader but I was super disappointed with this. Did not like any decisions of any of the characters or where anyone ended up. Didn't feel earnt.
Similar story could have been told without sacrificing character development and actual intrigue that was set up in Flock.
Me reading to 66% was me REALLY trying. But I really couldn't get behind it. And I tried.
I don't DNF books often so this was a big disappointment ðŸ˜
