Normally, I'm a massive fan of Kinsella's novels; they are chick-lit for me. However, I found this book to be a really difficult read. I couldn't sympathize with the characters because basically, they weren't at all endearing, with the exception of Lorcan. The wit and humor that usually stylizes Kinsella's works was no where to be found and I didn't laugh or break a big smile once. The story was sadly disappointing and I was glad when I finished reading it.
