Good, solid Romantic Suspense. Most of the Romantic Suspense I read pairs off two people in law enforcement and doesn't usually cross the detective/victim-witness line, which can make for some very blurred lines indeed, but it works in this case without it seeming like the detective is taking advantage of the victim/witness. The suspense is right up there with a good SVU story arc and the Romance isn't saccharine. Next time I'm looking for a good Romantic Suspense novel, I'm glad to know I have another author I can turn to.
