Mind of Winter is the most surreal, captivating tale of a mother and daughter I’ve ever read. Aspects of the relationship, sometimes fraught, sometimes heartbreakingly tender, are captured and held up to the light like a prism. I LOVED this book by Laura Kasischke. It will haunt me for a long long time.
