This book is very educational and informational about deaf culture, but the story itself was just not great. The romance was cringey and the main character really does not have much of a personality. All she does is think about her arguably insta-crush romantic interest and whether she’s good at her job or not (hint, she’s not very good). The summer camp vibes are strong though!
