Lodger by David Lapham, Maria Lapham

Another terrible effort from the folks at Black Crown (and these 'creators' in particular). It's incoherent, discursive, full of time shifts and flashbacks that make the story almost impossible to follow (not dramatic build up with all the pieces given, but a big reveal that makes no sense). The art is average and one can barely tell the characters apart without a scorecard. It also expresses the classic upper middle class trope about how travel is about experiencing others and walking in their shoes, when we live in the most gentrified and bland society on earth and are really expressing our desire to colonize.
Pathetic.
