Contempt
by A. Zavarelli
This story is so incredibly emotional, it was quite an intense read. My emotions are still all over the place after reading this one of a kind story.
Madden and Bianca’s story took me on a long, difficult and twisted journey. It’s raw and gritty in such an unflinching way, I love the authors writing style and character development.
There are so many stories within the main storyline. It’s quite an impressive book.
At so many times I was questioning what was real and who to trust. The extremely psychological aspects are central to the story as is deep, personal connections between people that refuse to be broken.
I’d suggest going in blind with this book, I’d love to say more, but I think every reader should experience it without preconceptions or spoilers.
This is a story I’ll never forget, it’s soulfully written, and the extraordinary characters are wonderful, complex and immensely strong. I loved it!
It felt like a very long book, I was emotionally spent while reading it, it’s the kind of story that hurts a bit before it gifts you with happiness that’s so hard won. It makes for a very satisfying feeling for me.
