Brandon Sanderson is already an autobuy author for me, but when I heard he released a novel akin to The Princess Bride (my favorite movie)… I was all over it. Tress of the Emerald Sea delivers all of the charm, wit, and whimsy of The Princess Bride while showing the power of love, friendship, and loyalty.
To say I enjoyed this novel is an understatement—I truly savored it. Thank you, Brandon, for being willing to share this masterpiece with the world.
I loved the slow reveal of Hoid as the sorcerer and Huck as Charlie. The way all the characters came together not because they had to, but because they wanted to, was truly beautiful.
To say I enjoyed this novel is an understatement—I truly savored it. Thank you, Brandon, for being willing to share this masterpiece with the world.
Graphic: Death and Gun violence
