It was a no brainer that i was going to enjoy this one just as much as i did all of the others in this series (and it's probably one of the few series i will go back to and re-read in the future)
It has the same kind of set up and general flow as all of the others, which is something that i actually found myself really enjoying and looking forward to because i LOVE it when a series repeats the same flow and themes because it just makes everything so much easier to understand.
I think this one was quite possibly the most tame out of all the others in the series though. Idk there was just something about it that seemed a lot lighter and less scary/dark romance to me. The only thing i can think of is that because the two main characters already knew each other and had a really traumatic past, it was obvious that nothing overly bad was going to happen. There wasn't as much tension or what the f*ck moments, but i actually really liked that! It meant that there was a little more focus on what was actually happening with the plot i guess, and less relying on tropes?
I also really liked the fact that right near the end we got to see and hear about other characters from the other books in the series! Little things like this just really help to tie all of the books together i think (and it doesn't hurt that all of the other characters are psychos too)
