Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies
by Jared Diamond
I honestly have no idea how this won the Pulitzer Prize. It was so boring I could barely read a paragraph without getting distracted. The author would ask an important question at the end of a paragraph and I would think “wow we’re actually getting somewhere relevant to the topic of this book”....nope, the next paragraph would start on a completely different topic without answering the aforementioned question. I would become distracted soon and forget whatever I was reading. I only got about 100 pages in before I had to put this away.
