I enjoyed the ending to this novella; however, the events leading up to the finale seemed to be inconsistent with the character's personality. Up to this point Seth has never given any inclination that lack of sexual intimacy has bothered him. He even defend Georgina's past behavior, (Book 2, and honestly I'm not sure he should have) so for him to have any sort of doubt, or moment of weakness seems out of character. Do I think that this relationship could possibly have problems because they can't fornicate? Absolutely. But it seemed more like these events, were a product of stirring the pot rather than sincere moments of weakness and well, human behavior. We are all flawed and imperfect. But it felt like we we're going from zero to one-hundred here.

Another issue is, I do think Georgina is rather neglectful towards Seth. Yes, she is at demon jury duty but there were choices she made that I question. To be honest I can see her being a bit more aloof, so her choices seem more consistent with her character. For instance, there was a party she didn't have to go to that she went to, even though she should have made more of an effort to spend time with Seth considering their vacation was abruptly interrupted. Also, whenever she does something clearly in the wrong she completely dismisses it as is if it didn't happen. Seth brought this up in the second novel. If they don't have honesty, they don't have anything at all. So Georgina gets to essentially commit serious errors and not be held accountable? I'm not saying she wouldn't commit these mistakes, I'm saying she should at least be honest with Seth and hold herself to the same standards she holds Seth.

Which leads me to my final point. Jealously was inevitable in this series. And the actions that Georgina committed in order to "test" Seth, were unethical. I understand why she would feel insecure, and jealous (I'm not saying Seth was completely innocent) but she should have talked to him about it. Again, I can see Georgina doing this, but I will say a lack of accountability seems to be poor writing in this case. Unless it will be further discussed in the third novel. Regardless, I wasn't too fond of this novella. But if it ties to the plot in the third novel then, it can't be skipped.
