Dead End Girl
by L.T. Vargus
Slow, overly detailed, and just boring; this book was extremely disappointing. Dead End Girl was the first book I've read of L.T. Vargus and Tim McBain's and it might be my last. I found myself skimming through paragraphs because of irrelevant details that had no significance to the story itself.
However, the biggest issue I had with this book was how the authors presented the main character, Violet Darger. On every page that mentioned Violet, the authors would switch between her first and last name. In one sentence they would address her as Violet and in the very next Darger. At first, I thought that it was a third person involved in the conversation, but nope... just the authors' switching back and forth on her name.
If you are looking for a suspenseful thriller, don't look to this book. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you are wanting to be tortured and bored.
