Nothing Like the Movies by Lynn Painter
5.0
“Silly little love lover…”
FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND STARS
dare i say, favourite book ever?!?!??
better than the movies is obviously a fantastic, non-cringe romance book. but nothing like the movies hits different. im always a little conflicted about second chances romances and i was a bit heartbroken when i first read the blurb that said wes and liz broke up. and i was like… HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE.
nothing like the movies just put lizwes’s love on a whole another shelf for me. the yearning?!?! the teasing and banter and the confession?!?!?
okay, yeah, im in a romance book, i always am, i love romance and i love love. it makes my heart ache for them for all the good reasons. i sincerely hope there is a guy like wes for everyone. how devoted he was to liz. how he knew everything about her and more.
and how lynn thanked steph bohrer in the acknowledgements? im a big steph girlie, so it makes ME happy even though i dont even know her personally. im happy for her as a friend.
ps: now i lowkey want a book about clark and sarah?!?!?
