Born of Death and Ruin by Zarah Hemlock

4.0

What !? This novella was hard to read… Ziggy and Thorin have been through so much. The crap and cruelness they’ve had to endure is so heartbreaking.

This was almost a prequel to Blood Vow as we get Ziggy and Thorin‘s past - seeing them go through hell. It’s a pretty hard read the torture they’re endured so please read the triggers if it’s something you need to do.

Learning more about Ziggy and Thorin, how they both ended up where they did definitely made me see them in a different light. Ziggy is such a sweet heart to me. That man has been tested and seeing him come to his own just makes me more eager to see more of him. And Thorin, my fiery little pixie - I loved her in Blood Vow and reading her story broke me. I’m glad she kept that fire inside her no matter what she goes through, the torture she really is force to reckoned with and I can’t wait see her unleash hell on those who’ve wronged her.

We meet Lydia and even babygirl has been through on own share of hell. Never being good enough, I can’t wait to read more of her.

Zarah this one was hard to read, I can’t imagine writing it. I would say I’m glad you did because it gave us a closer look into these characters. I did enjoy the love and spice sprinkled in between.
