“People aren't born good or bad. Maybe they're born with tendencies either way, but its the way you live your life that matters.”

This is only a 0.25 star higher because
of the not siblings reveal. It isn't that Jace and Clary aren't siblings, it's the fact that Jace and Clary are still into each other while thinking that they are siblings, which is weird. And Simon, why does Cassandra Clare make you suffer a lot. Just... why??? This book also did have a lot of shocking things happen, like Valentine dying, Sebastian dying, Jace dying and then being resurrected. I'm surprised I remembered most of the backstory for Jace and Clary from 8 years ago. It all came back to me as I read it.
I can see why Cassandra Clare said to stop here and go read The Infernal Devices. Honestly, I'm more excited about that than this series. This felt like a sort of conclusion, but not really. There's three more books after this, with stuff that is going to be completely new to me. I wonder where this story will go next.
