Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca

2.0

I had high hopes for this book because a haunted house with some romance just in time for spooky season? Hell yes!
Well, hell no apparently. This book bored me to death. More than halfway through I decided life's too short and I was so not invested in the characters nor the nonexistent story... Maybe low stakes romance/plot just isn't for me. But the main guy was also so so bland and boring, the main girl so traumatised for something that doesn't really feel as important as having a fucking ghost in your house: she's more worried about nobody answering her in the group chat cause she's single and not a mom, and instead of having an adventure with a ghost she hooks the ghost up with some reality tv and goes out with a man that's hot and cold and honestly a bit of a red flag sometimes?
Nope.
