I’ve been going into these books blind to the plot and this one hit me upside the head with the dark brutality that is the sex trade and slavery.
The author expertly weaves Rizzoli’s struggles with her identity as a cop and a mother within the horrific crimes the team is facing in this story.
I had a hard time putting this down and was enthralled by the story.
*Listened to the audiobook and the narrator is fantastic.
