Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
3.25
adventurous mysterious fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

The flaws of the MC aren't a *good* focus of the book, but they sure are prevalent. That is: this so called masterful assassin is shit at being an assassin

Typical SJM writing with lackluster worldbuilding and painful choice of words. "Magic calls to magic" or "both in the world and not in this world" is giving my aCoTaR flashbacks. please make it stop! Phrases like that truly irk me

Better than aCoTaR for sure
