wow.
the entire premise of the story ("skinny white girl is the key to overthrowing the evil people in power, and falls in love with the male lead character") has been done before. and done /better/.
if jennifer a. neilson wanted to choose the most used plot in young adult fiction, she could at least have a better writing style than the 12-year-olds who haunt wattpad.
so maybe that's a little harsh.
if it wasn't for the sake of my disdain for leaving a series unfinished, i wouldn't read the next book.
