I am all for grumpy sunshine books but the MMC in this novel was just a straight up asshole. Like to the point where he was rude, heartless, and had the emotional range of a teaspoon. They wrapped it up like oh how cute he’s so grumpy but to me it just read like emotional abuse and immaturity. Like it was up to Winnie to be able to read his mind and when she got it wrong he would just blow up at her. Use your words man. It’s not her job to understand your feelings when you don’t even understand your feelings and emotions. Winnie deserved better.
