The Many Assassinations of Samir, the Seller of Dreams
by Daniel Nayeri
It was OK. While listening to it, I sensed there was a fair amount of historical accuracy to the time period which I appreciated and the author’s note confirmed this. The story was all over the place and I didn’t really get it at first but maybe it would appeal to tweens who like this sort of story. I think I’d probably like it more on a second reading now that I have a better sense of what’s going on but I don’t really desire to interact with it again.
