Martin the Warrior by Brian Jacques

I first read this book in the 5th grade, and it instantly became my favorite story. It introduced me to the Redwall series, which I still love, and I've read it so many times since that I've lost count. Even having grown up and moved on from this type of book, it makes me cry each time I reread it. Martin the Warrior will always hold a special place in my heart.
