Dark Crisis by Joshua Williamson

4.0

As a Crisis event, this book is incredibly disappointing. It is, at best, an homage to all the other, better Crisis books smooshed together with no actual ramifications for anything. It also takes place after the far superior Metal books that effectively served as a Crisis event just a couple years ago. It has nothing new to bring to the table. And yet, I really enjoyed it. Sampere sold the spectacle in a beautiful way and lifted the whole book onto his shoulders.
