Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell

5.0

Laurel lost her daughter Ellie and it’s now been almost a decade with no leads. Laurel feels hopeless and has lived her life on auto pilot ever since. Cue Floyd coming into the picture with his bizarre daughter Poppy and teaching Laurel to be open to a new relationship. The story is told from 4 POV’s, but only 2 are in first person which was unique. Predictable at times & I couldn’t clearly picture the characters in my head just by the given descriptions until almost the end.

Overall a 5 star read, because when I had it in hand I couldn’t put it down.
