Super surprising direction of narrative here, but I enjoyed it.
Yes, it was a bit racist at times and yikes to the view of "seductive" underage girls. Also, the resolution felt like it was from the first seeds planted, which felt like a cop out.
But really it was a romance dressed up as a mystery and I appreciate the romance.
