The Gilded Wolves

This was supposed to be a five-star book. I was loving it; the characters were great and their group dynamic was amazing, there was an exciting plot and intriguing magic system, and it was just great all around for the entirety of the book. But within the last 7 (very short, may I add) chapters, it was like everything that could have possibly gone wrong went wrong. The plot had already come to a close (achieved what they had been out to do, defeated the bad guys, etc.), but then the book kept going. And it just unraveled the entire story. I assume that everything was to advance the plot for the sequel, but it had been SO GOOD and now pretty much everything is ruined. I won't go into specifics here, but most of the stuff that happened can't really be fixed in the upcoming books, and theyre also having a serious effect of the characters and the story... so I am really upset that it ended in that way. Honestly, I don't even particularly want to know what happens next, so I probably won't finish the series. :(
