While my opinion on the plot of this novel wasn't all negative, I was entirely unengaged with this book the entire time it took me to read. The character development is nonexistent from start to finish. All of the events that should've made the story intriguing were not only unrealistic it was written in a way that left gaping holes in the plot at the end of the story.
I will say that contrary to some other reviews I've read, I liked the twist at the end of the story. I feel like it gave the impression there was a "plan" for all the nonsense that occurred in the first 75% of the book, even if it was still full of open ends and plot holes.
I liked where the author was going with the book, even if this one wasn't a hit for me.
