DNF at 50%. It is just so boring. The internal monologue of a lunatic hiding out in the woods with his poor baby girl, then little girl. I never did find out why exactly but I didn’t really care. And what is this with characters making snap decisions about who something applies to with the barest of info. And the reader knows damn well it’s just to set up some kind of big reversal when it’s revealed who really is behind it. Drives me crazy.
