If you like cutesy, clean, YA romance, it’s not bad. Short stories, so nothing too deep and complicated.

The Green Thumb War was my favorite. And the last one with the celebrity singing show was cute.

One thing that bothered me was that it didn’t really acknowledge the more negative parts of lockdown. Barely a mention of anti-maskers (zero arguments with their friends about wearing masks? is that actually realistic? am I the only one who lost dozens of friends in 2020?), no one actually GETS covid, no mention of the George Floyd protests or political drama. I guess that’s just not the vibe they were going for, but they basically make lockdown sound like a staycation. Which it was, for a lot of people, but there was a depressing gritty reality going on at the same time.

Overall: not quite my thing, but I’m sure someone would like it.
