I hate how Tripp sounds like he is in his teens instead of 36. All that talk and immediate nicknames really came off more creepy than sweet. I also think the “spice” was completely inappropriate in a book like this one. Pick a side, either profound therapy sessions or spicy scenes. I was equally bored by both. Shame because the book had so much potential. 
And what is with her ex-boyfriend full on flirting with her while his wife is pregnant? Did the author purposely make every character unbearable?
