My earlier assessment of cautionary tales of love and monsters akin to episodes of Twilight Zone still stands at the end of this book. There’s inspiration and entertainment in these pages, it’s sexy, it’s boundary pushing, and the horror is unsettling and exciting. So very glad to have read it and looking forward to Book 2.
