Hit and Run by Lori Matthews

Dani loves her work as a hacker. She knows that she wants to help others because she doesn’t always know the best way to do so. With her job, she can pick and choose jobs to make sure she’s doing such. Since she has lived a life with no family, she knows that taking a job to search for a family member is important. She lives by her own set of moral codes and will do what she can to help.

Gage is very much a guy who believes in the laws and rules that are set out, and those rules are never to be broken. When he’s sent to watch over Dani, it's not an ideal job for him. His best friend was killed at the hands (and/or words) of a hacker. He doesn’t believe in any honor when it comes to what her job is. He’s determined to finish the job and be done.

Their journey is a lot of ups and downs, trying to dodge the bad guys who are willing to do whatever it takes to get their hands on Dani. They have to work together to both come out of this crap alive. The overall story is suspenseful, intriguing, and steamy! I loved their story and I will be going back to read the other books in the series. Well done!
