The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
so I started reading this book in 2016, I got about 200 pages in and then went on camp... I remember being enthralled by it up until that point, but I never continued with it.
earlier this year I decided to pick it up again from the beginning, but soon after starting I got a new job that swallowed all my time and attention, after adjusting and things started to slow down I finally got to read through the whole story again
and wow,, it felt like I was a rock sinking into this story.
it's beautiful and has this sense of dread hanging over the whole book.
I laughed, I cried.
and I am literally a different person to when I started this story almost 10 years ago.
