The story was compelling enough, but the execution left something to be desired. It seemed like about half of the book was exposition. I also am not a big fan of the love triangle, but given that it was published at the height of the pop culture love triangle obsession, I can look past that. I'm interested enough to keep going with the series, so that says something for me!
