Thanks to Frances Perkins: Fighter for Workers' Rights by Deborah Hopkinson

5.0

Nice story regarding Frances Perkins, the first woman to serve in a president's cabinet as Sec. of Labor. This is a woman who witnessed the Triangle Waist Company fire in 1911. !46 people died in the fire. This led her to champion the cause of the worker and their rights. This book details Frances' actions to help the worker then and now.

I received this as a review copy. I wish that when I was younger there were books like this.
