This book is a poignant novel that sensitively protrays the ripple effect of mental illness on relationships, family and identity.Through raw emotion and thoughtful storytelling, Claire Gleeson reminds us of the enduring presence of hope, love, and human connection, even in the darkest times.

This was a powerful, tender, and deeply affecting read. It explores the quiet but heavy weight of mental health struggles, not just for those suffering directly, but for the people who support and love them. Claire captures this experience with such honesty and respect. Nothing is sugar coated, but everything is handled with care.

What lingered with me most was the sadness but also the reminder that life keeps going. Amid the pain, there’s is love, new life milestones, and the quiet power of simply being there for someone and doing what you need to get through.

This book broke my heart in places, but it also filled it right back up again. A truly important and beautiful read.
