Red Rabbit by Devyn Rivers

4.0

This is the author's debut, and I considered that while rating this one. It's been pretty hyped up on social media since it came out, and I finally decided to read it.

I love dark romance and have no triggers besides animal abuse. So, this story didn't trigger me. However, read the TWs before reading if you do. It's a dark story of 2 opposites surviving a plane crash together, only to have the FMC taken to a human trafficking/torture location in a remote wooded area. And the horrors she goes there while there are described in detail.

It's also a story of revenge and redemption, and there is an HEA, so if you are worried about that, don't be.

The writing was decent. The characters were well-developed for the most part, although some things could have been expanded on, and some things could have been cut. Overall, for a debut, I give it a 4.
