This was super entertaining and easy to read!  I enjoyed the gritty noir vibe, but parts of how the story unfolded seemed a little too convenient and some parts left a bad taste in my mouth.
Using transness as a plot twist is pretty dated and distasteful imo and I feel like Tangerine's character was done dirty. I don't think adding a transphobic/chaser arc was a good choice that added anything to the story; The self hating homophobe/transphobe trope has been done to death and isn't a helpful or interesting narrative.
