Une grosse déception !!
Je ne sais pas ce qui se passe en ce moment mais j'ai l'impression que chaque livre que je lis est pire que le précédent ... C'est pour ça que je me suis tournée vers une valeur que je pensais sûre ...
SAUF QUE NON !!
Moi qui adore la série New Species, j'ai été très déçue par ce tome ><
La première histoire avec Mel et Snow était mignonne mais sans plus (romance un peu trop facile, j'aurais voulu plus de suspens ><) mais la deuxième avec Mary et Lash ... C'est l'une des premières fois où je passe rapidement toutes les pages d'un livre pour arriver plus vite à la fin !!
Pour une série où la question du viol et du consentement est très souvent abordée, j'ai été choqué par la première rencontre entre Mary et Lash !!
Pour moi, cette scène a été la fin avant même le premier dialogue entre eux !!
Bref, j'espère que le prochain livre sera meilleur (Je veux l'histoire de Jaded !!)

A big disappointment !!
I don't know what's going on these days but I have the impression that each book I read is worse than the precedent ... That's why I turned to a series that I thought safe ...
EXCEPT NOT !!
I love the New Species series, I was very disappointed by this book ><
The first story with Mel and Snow was cute but nothing more (romance a little too easy, I would have liked more suspense ><) but the second with Mary and Lash ... This is one of the first times I quickly go through all the pages of a book to get to the end faster !!
For a series where the issue of rape and consent is very often addressed, I was shocked by the first meeting between Mary and Lash !!
For me, this scene was the end even before the first dialogue between them !!
To sum up, I hope the next book will be better (I want the story of Jaded !!)

En gros, Mary est tellement terrifiée qu'elle ne réagit pas quand Lash lui tombe dessus ... Et c'est donc clairement un viol !! Et quand elle commence à le trouver "tendre" et qu'elle "réalise" qu'il ne veut pas lui faire de mal ... C'est clairement le syndrome de Stockholm !! Et pourtant, ils tombent soit-disant amoureux et ils vont avoir un enfant ... Irréaliste !!Pour moi, cette scène a été la fin avant même le premier dialogue entre eux !!

Basically, Mary is so terrified that she doesn't react when Lash falls on her ... And so it is clearly a rape !! And when she starts to find him "tender" and she "realizes" that he doesn't want to hurt her ... This is clearly the Stockholm syndrome !! And yet, they supposedly fall in love and they are going to have a child ... Unrealistic !!For me, this scene was the end even before the first dialogue between them !!
To sum up, I hope the next book will be better (I want the story of Jaded !!)
