How do I describe a book that I loved every minute of and yet it seemed to drag on forever?

I loved the writing of this book, and the story, and the characters. I think I enjoyed every moment I spent reading it, though still thought it was never-ending. The actual ending went by incredibly quickly, which is when the final pieces start to come into place.

Currently can't think of very much to say in all honesty. The ending (right before the real ending) absolutely ruined me and I sobbed for at least half an hour. The mischievous/bittersweet ending was good all the same.
