Star Wars: Darth Vader - Dark Lord of the Sith, Vol. 1: Imperial Machine by Charles Soule, Giuseppe Camuncoli

4.0

this was awesome, Vader was as menacing and intimidating as ever while not being an unstoppable monster. I think it was pretty awesome seeing him create his own lightsaber and also the fact that he’s still battling between the light and dark side, which makes his fall into the version of him in the OT much more believable
I’m also glad there wasnt any internal monologuing, because thats kind of predictable and takes away from a lot of the mystique behind Vader
The art was spectacular and almost cinematic at times, with beautiful landscapes and spaceships, and Giuseppe Camuncoli draws Vader in such a beautiful way too
