This was the last in the series that Anne MCaffrey was involved in writing. She died as the book was being edited. This is also part of the series that she co-wrote with her son and I don't enjoy them as much as the ones she wrote on her own.
I found it confusing as there were too many characters to keep track of and I wasn't really clear on their relationships to each other or what time they came from.
