The Shade of the Moon

DID NOT FINISH
I quit reading this at 42% (so says Kindle) because I just couldn't force myself anymore. I didn't find anything I liked about Jon in his behavior and characteristics. He's pompous, entitled, rude, and completely disrespectful towards others he feels aren't as good as he is.. It was written in 3rd person, which made him seem even more unlikable. And I almost hated him when I read about his last day with Julie (from book 3). I might read a few pages at the end to see if Jon got his head out of his ass, but that's a maybe still. A really disappointing end to a good series.
Edit to add: I kept reading/skimming despite my dislike and it only gets worse. They should have named the book "Seriously?!?" Because that's what I kept thinking. There's a plot point with Miranda I saw coming a mile away and the solution made me say it. People would do or say things totally out of character, characters would come out of nowhere, and Carlos is completely repugnant. Seriously?!
