The Spirit Rebellion

Well, I really don't like it when the summary of the book does not fit the actual plot of the book. In this case, it soured the book for me a bit because I've been expecting another fun romp with Eli while he's trying to steal something but, I think (or at least it felt that way for me), Eli had actually the least screentime in this book. -.- Yeah, not happy with that.
If I wouldn't have been misled by the summary, I would have enjoyed seeing Miranda getting the job from the West Wind, Josef fighting with Sted and Nico fighting with the demon inside her way more. Also, I could have dealt better with Eli being so little in this (POV wise). Yes, he's been there. There has been stuff happening/revealed that is very interesting and I'm very curious how all of it will play out. But still, for a book about the legend of Eli Monpress? Way too little Eli Monpress...
I still love the characters a lot, though. I'm curious about the new characters we've met. I'm curious if my hunch about the past and relatives of Eli is right. So, I'll read the next part. And hope that there will be more Eli in it...
