4/5 - I love Kristin Hannah’s historical fictions.
Elsa was such a great character and I felt so much grief for her. She was definitely my favourite character so the ending was so sad since she just learned that she’s worthy of romantic love with Jack. Ugh. So sad.
Loreda was such a good contrast to Elsa but she pissed me off so much which I guess was the point. Ant was kinda useless to me.
The plot was great. It’s about learning to realize your right as an American to free wages and I really enjoyed seeing Elsa’s journey with that.
I listened to this on audio. Would I read/listen to it again? Yes. It was so good and Kristin Hannah’s stories are always phenomenal.
