First, I will start out with "gross". Way more gore than usual. I like contagion kinds of stories...they are exciting and usually adventurous, but that's when the reader actually LIKES the characters. The main character in this story is a sports loving guy that grew up with an overbearing father. He's kind of a horrible person and I wasn't as concerned by his tortuous suffering as I should have been. I know at one point I was hoping he wouldn't make it.

To each their own...but this one was not for me.
