This was a really short book and I think it could be fleshed out more for a longer story. However, we do have physical abuse in this and we have a couple of spicy scenes. I was very happy with how the friendship handled things but I would have loved to delve into that more and over a longer bit of time as well as the building up of the mate position that Lila finds herself in and how not only her and Grayson navigate it but  Lila and Dani. I would also love a Dani and Jace story.
