This was beyond one of the best books I read to finish the year. Everything about this book I loved by the end of it. It’s long but it’s captivating; I felt so attached to the characters and empathetic of their own individual situations. As the books goes on you feel everything spiral out of control and you’re fear and grief for these characters is at an all time high. Hoping that everything will work out in the end. The way the book is crafted is completely genius and I’ve not read another book like it, that grips you so hard and sucks you in so well. The end of the book is ambiguous which could’ve been a fallback but for me it was the opposite. It was so well done that the ambiguity of it all made the book as a whole so much stronger, and the situation at hand so much more intense. I’ve thought about this novel everyday since I finished it. Truly one of the best books I’ve ever read.
