Dragon Slippers by Jessica Day George

4.0

Reminded me of Patricia Wrede's "Dealing with Dragons," and Gail Carson Levine's "Fairest." This was a fun story to read. The main character of this story cares more of her ambitions than marrying nobility. She loves to design fashions and is talented at it. Part of the plot to get her married off involves dragons. However, but in the end it is her friendship with dragons and her ambitions that drive the story.
